Came in for lunch on a chilly damp day. Food fabulous. Just what was needed today, a hearty beef stew in a giant Yorkshire. Get the coats on and get here. OK it’s off main route, but the log fire, food and good beer makes it worth a trip.
A bit tucked away, but very worth a visit. Outstanding views of the floodplains and a quiet stretch of the broads.Caught a quiet period and had the sundeck to ourselves as light faded. Clearly popular with locals, but didn't experience that awful uncomfortable feeling when you enter somewhere as an outsider.Great, fairly priced drinks. Friendly, attentive staff. A lovely experience. Do give it a try.Only had packet snacks, didn't eat.

First stop after crossing Breydon Water, which in the weather we endured was very welcome indeed. Perfect before continuing on. Lacking real ales, which was a shame, but the lager was refreshing. Locals are very friendly.
