Normally a great treat for us. But this visit simply awful. Decided to eat in. Took 15 minutes for someone to take our order and only after we asked for it to be taken. Young lad in front of house clearly not trained. Other FOh girl not communicating with others. When our order was taken, served quickly. But my fish was cold and only partially cooked. Cycling past on a recent holiday we by chance called in.Ordered cod chips and curry sauceThe fish had crispy batter and the fish inside was cooked perfectly.The curry sauce was fine and different in a good way it was a ordering system like a fast food restaurant, but you do have the option of sitting inside all the staff I encountered were friendly and attentive.

Gluten free haddock superb. My other half now chooses gluten free even though she is not allergic. The sauces and peas were perfect. Next time small chips to share as medium between two was too much!
