My favourite pub in Norwich - good range of local ask ales as well as more mainstream lagers/stouts and a solid collection of spirits and mixers. Not only are the staff absolutely lovely and make you feel at home, but all the other punters create a wonderful atmosphere in a pub that really does feel like the heart of a neighbourhood.P.s. dogs are allowed too!
This is an excellent traditional two room back street corner pub, one of those where you walk in through the front door to the small front bar section but then the rest of the pub, to the side and to the back, just urges you to explore it. Still retains a feeling of the old public/lounge split with the bar room having a wooden floor and the back room more lounge like and carpeted.
