Our first visit to this pub/restaurant and it was excellent. We went for a late Sunday lunch and the food was great - very generous portions. Vegan options available - the nut roast was very tasty. Staff attentive and very friendly.
Fancied a Sunday lunch, too much hard work to cook for one, so had one delivered from The Cottage. absolutely scrumptious. Plenty of Turkey, stuffing, sausage and huge Yorkshire pudding. Vegetables, roast potatoes and mash, loads of gravy. One disappointment I couldn’t eat it all lol . ??? but won’t go to waste! Why cook? ? well worth the money.

Very good food. Huge portions. There is a limited choice of ales, generally all mainstream stuff, Neck Oil etc, these are quite pricey too. However if you're into your food and don't mind drinking something mainstream then it's a good pub.
