We hadn't been here for a few years and we love the riverside location. But sadly we were disappointed. The staff, although friendly, seemed to have no organisation. We sat at our 1st table which was set, but had to wait and wait for a menu. In fact I had to ask for one! It was quite busy, but there seemed to be plenty of staff. A lovely meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The Rushcutters was a cosy place to while away a rainy evening in Norwich. It seems to be a very place with local people, which we always take as a good sign.

Met by a sign saying ‘No Cash Payment’ another saying ‘Wait to be seated’ but no one approached us, so as we had booked, we had to ask at the bar. My flatbread was hard & inedible, no presentation. The whole place needs a refurb, sticky tables, worn seating, toilets disgusting etc. Table service just ok, not friendly, so won’t be back.
