Good quality Indian food. The service on the whole was attentive, one member of staff did come across as rude. It was the end of the night, so he was probably just tired, but the sarcasm and attitude wasn't necessary.
We were going to eat elsewhere but big delay on food. Rang to book table at Merchants but told busy so delays. We got there early as we had advised them only to find 75% of restaurant empty. Our table was ready so sat and ordered drinks. Staff attentive and helpful, food delicious and well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed my curry and I only have one about once a year. Amazing!!!! Thank you to all the staff at the Merchant for an evening to remember! Booked a table of 9 for a 30th birthday celebration, service 10/10, food 10/10 & atmosphere 10/10! Will be back for sure, highly recommended for all occasions!
