Lovely place to eat at, the staff were lovely especially our waitress. The food is all made fresh so no microwaved meals.Vegetarian options: There isn’t many on the menu however they are always willing to add or take away something from the meal on the menu to support your needs.
We have visited The Ship almost from the day we arrived back in the UK in 2004 and have never been that impressed. In fact we avoided it for several years as it was not very welcoming. So, why do we feel we now need to write a review some twenty years later? Well the honest answer is that The Ship has been transformed! What a great find. We're only on holiday but were treated like locals, such a friendly pub and village. Incredibly dog friendly. We haven't eaten here yet but definitely would and the menu looks good ?
