I found the food a bit hit and miss each of the 4 days I dined in the restaurant. It was clear that there were staff shortages over the Xmas holiday period as the service was 'mixed' and there were long delays getting seated in an otherwise 50% empty restaurant. The atmosphere was not helped by staff loudly and unprofessionally discussing work related personnel matters in the public area each time I dined. Food was OK but staff and service very poor. Staff rude and didn't care that we had waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive due to our order being lost. I appreciate that errors are made but there was no offer of compensation or free desert by way of an apology. We had to ask.

Just stayed over for one night at the Premier inn had an evening meal and breakfast the lady at the front of house was amazing and friendly very polite and big Thank you for allowing me to sit quietly having a coffee whilst I was for my family to wake up overall food was lovely and a all round pleasant place with a friendly atmosphere
