Clean, efficient service, small but not crowded in, wide menu. We had breakfast and when asking for a couple of extras and changes, nothing was a problem. Really well-run place. Would definitely go back. Congratulations to the owner/s and staff. ?

Coach House, Bentham
Main St, Bentham, LancasterAte here with my family (6 people) on Tuesday 5th August 2025. Delicious food and good service, nice atmosphere and great beer. I recommend the home-made pies and leaving enough room for the sticky toffee pudding. It’s worth it!

Hoggs N Heifers
Main St, Bentham, LancasterBrilliant, quirky pub. Great beer and lovely bar staff. We were staying in a nearby cottage for the weekend and this made for an excellent way to spend a couple of hours. If we lived nearer I'd be visiting this pub often!

Main St, Bentham, LancasterWe ate from here last week, whilst staying at Riverside Caravan park. Really good menu, loads of choice, some very good family deals! The service was great, fast and really nice guys serving us. The pizza’s were fantastic, extremely tasty, good quality toppings and very good value! We will 100% eat there again! 🍕

The Black Bull Hotel
13 Main St, Bentham, LancasterSeems popular with locals. Friendly staff, nice woodburning stove. They really do have a gluten-free menu rather just talking about it. I had gluten-free halloumi and it was nice.
I'd say this a typical boozer - pool table, sport tv etc. Down to earth, unpretentious. Seems good value. I don't really do pubs but if they make an effort with menus etc it's good to support them.

Bentham Chippy
22 Main St, Bentham, LancasterA superb traditional fish and chip shop. The menu is short, but it's made fresh while you watch and very good indeed. I had a takeaway but there are tables to sit in too. The ingredients are top quality, fresh fish, proper chunky potato chips, quality peas. Friendly service too, couldn't fault anything. Watch out for opening times, only seems open a few hours Thursday to Saturdays.

Little Fortune Chinese Takeaway
50 Main St, Bentham, LancasterNice Chinese takeaway is this. Friendly over the phone, picked it up and the girl behind the counter was nice and friendly, offered me prawn crackers - perfect. The food was good and just what we had ordered too, no complaints at all. They only accept cash just so you know.

Bentham Balti Indian Take Away
10 Main St, Bentham, LancasterOrdered last night the garlic chilli chicken masala with keema rice naan and onion bhaji and the food was amazing. Best Indian we've had in a long time. So tasty and fresh. Would highly recommend ?? ??
