Really nice, cosy little pub in a great setting. Nice selection of beers and a very friendly reception. Stopped off on a recent walk and would definitely recommend it. The recent refurbishment has been very well done and made what was a good pub into a great one.
A lovely country inn with real fires and a great pint of Wainwright after a hard morning on the North York Moors. Friendly and hospitable, food is currently limited to sandwiches though they're hoping to offer a fuller menu in the future. Nice beer garden with lovely views, highly recommended.

What a fabulous oasis. Gorgeous little pub nestled in the North York Moors. Great welcome by the charming licensee. Cask ale in such superb condition although simple the food was excellent and thoughtfully prepared and presented. Strongly recommended ?
