Popped in here for lunch. Staff were friendly. Place was nearly empty at Sunday lunch time! Menu was basic, not a great deal of choice. I had butternut squash Wellington Sunday dinner, a friend had a burger. Burger came with chips and mayo, no salad or coleslaw and very basic, she said it was just ok. My Wellington was nice, but veg was average, roasties tasted frozen? Gravy was really think and tasted like if was from a packet mixed with boiling water. Went with the daughters football team to watch the Lionesses quarter final.Loved the pub, the service was excellent, drinks choice was wide and varied and the daughter enjoyed her food ?.Cheers!

Pleasant large pub in town centre. The food was reasonable and inexpensive and there is parking close by. We visited early on a Saturday evening and there were few customers. Perhaps it gets lively later? Dog friendly. It has some sport tv in the bars but I am not sure what the channel available is? We were not staying in the hotel..
