Thank you to all at tykes. I didn't have a table booked for lunch, but you made my wife and I welcome. It was because it was our first wedding anniversary. The food service and ambiance spot on. We have been a few times and never disappointed. Thank you. Would definitely recommend.
Ate here twice during a weeks stay at Griffon Forest. Came for dinner with friends on the Wednesday - steak night! Which was very tasty ( according to my husband!). Also had Sunday lunch - we all had a roast, all meals were so tasty & good portion sizes. On both visits the service was great, friendly staff. I’ve been to Tykes a few times, and the food has always been good. Today was my first time for Sunday Lunch and I have to say I was really surprised, the food was outstanding. I had the roast beef, the meat was tender and really well cooked, the veg was fresh tasting and really well cooked. My partner who is vegetarian and gluten free had the nut roast, she really liked it. Would definitely recommend, I’ll be back for more.
