We called in for breakfast before heading home. It was quite busy inside. Always a good sign. 2 large breakfasts. Tea and toast. Freshly cooked.... To perfection. Clearly quality free range eggs. We didn't have our dog with us. But don't think dogs should be allowed inside places serving food. Not everyone is comfortable around dogs. The staff were great. Polite and efficient... This is my first time I ever come across and it will be my last!! Breakfast was lovely, sandwich and drinks came to 22.40 altogether! One of the most expensive roadside cafe that I've visited to be fair
The younger lady was quite pleasant, but the older was rather surly and I got the distinct impression they would rather I hadn't called in. I went to sit outside because it smelt very greasy spoon inside. I had to ask for a teaspoon, the milk, a knife, a napkin!! After I went outside they shut the door on me and told me I would have to go 'round the back' if I wanted to get in!!! Er, no thanks!
