We stayed in room 6 for 2 nights 30th and 31st December, room 6 was very spacious, clean and a very comfortable bed plenty of storage space for clothes, tea and coffee making facilities, great bathroom and shower, lovely fresh towels, we had food in the pub on both nights and it was absolutely delicious, great portions great tasty homemade food, new years eve disco was very good and fantastic atmosphere, just a short bus ride fron york town centre, £2 each way will definitely...read full review
We stayed at The Plough Inn for my birthday weekend on a visit to York and what a great choice! All the team are really friendly and couldn't be nicer - warm and welcoming on arrival and happy to share tips on what to see in York which we appreciated. The rooms are comfortable, clean and decorated in a quirky style. The plough is a great pub with really good home cooked food. I had the Turkey dinner which was excellent. Staff were really friendly & the beer was good. Would definitely return when I’m next in York.
