Restaurants in Hampsthwaite
The Joiners Arms
High St, Hampsthwaite, HarrogateWe’ve had the Sunday carvery twice recently and at £14.95 per plate for adults, it’s outstanding value! There’s a choice of three meats (you can have some of each if you so wish) and a plentiful selection of veggies plus Yorkshire puddings (huge!), gravy and a couple of sauces. We were so full that we had to regretfully decline a dessert.
They also serve an excellent choice of sandwiches at lunchtime during the week and we’ve been there many times for just that.
The staff are exceedingly pleasant, helpful and welcoming. They have their own car park but I would advise booking in advance for Sundays, as it’s very popular.

Queens Head Inn
Kettlesing Ln, Kettlesing, HarrogateGreat country village pub. We ate Sunday lunch there , before our 1 night stay in Harrogate. Service was great, and the food was hot, fresh and home cooked.
The roast beef was gorgeous. We even ordered one for the dog. Thank you for a lovely experience ?

The Sawley Arms
Sawley, RiponJust called in for early tea and was very pleased with our meal. The price reflects the restaurant quality of food served, which was delicious and a Yorkshire portion. We ate outside and the service was both friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
