Peaks & Troughs
6 High St, Ingleton, CarnforthDiscovered #peaks and troughs earlier this month. We were made most welcome including our Sproodle Monty. We only went in for a few drinks but the menu looked so appetising that we gave it a go. We both had burgers which are on another level. Absolutely scrummy and the best we have tasted - ever! This venue is a definite must when visiting Ingleton. Such a good vibe with lots of happy people including the staff ( owners?) Give it a go - you won’t be disappointed

La Tavernetta
23 Main St, Ingleton, CarnforthEnjoyed a very nice meal last night at La Tavernetta in Ingleton. Welcoming staff and very tasty food. Loved the fact that you can choose which pasta you would like with which sauce. Maybe adding a labelled picture of the different kinds of pasta would be beneficial.
Small traditional Italian restaurant with a lot of charm. We would definitely recommend and will be returning!

The Village Kitchen
8 The Square, Ingleton, CarnforthWe had just completed the Ingleton waterfall trail and with it being our first ever visit to the village we were keen to have a mooch around but first thing's first - coffee and cake - spot on at the Village Kitchen! The weather was decent so we made use of the outdoor seating area and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this lovely place. Highly recommended!

New Rd, CarnforthWhat a delightful find on a Sunday out with mum. The shop is lovely with great gifts ideas, treats and quality food. The café is wonderful. We had a cream scone with tea and mum had the prawn and smoked salmon jacket potato with salad. Delicious, fresh, home made, top quality and reasonably priced. The service is professional and friendly and the staff are fantastic. We'll be coming again soon. Thank you for a great experience.

The three horseshoes
41 Main St, Ingleton, CarnforthWe came to this traditional and cosy pub with our dog on Sunday for lunch. We received a friendly welcome and ordered two beers whilst looking at the menu. There was no Sunday roast that day so we ordered the meatballs with barbeque sauce and mash and the steak, ale and mushroom pudding with roast potatoes and gravy. We both agreed the food was delicious with generous portions. Our dog got some free treats too. We relaxed with a good bottle of Malbec with our meals. We enjoyed our visit to this place with its friendly service, good hearty food, lovely vibe and its dog friendly too.

Masons Freehouse
New Rd, Ingleton, CarnforthGreat staff, friendly and sociable atmosphere plus fantastic choice on the menu. Superb quality of food and service. The locals like this place and recommend the home made steak pie ( which means they sometimes sell out ). Booking is advised in holiday season and weekends. I'm heading back tonight so hopefully some steak pie left..... !
