We stayed a single night and would absolutely go back. It felt almost as if you were staying in the home of a wealthy land owner from a Jane Austen novel. Room was great and spotlessly clean. Staff were excellent, welcoming and professional.

Can’t go wrong here.\n\nAnother excellent meal, with an extensive menu.\n\nThe dining experience is perhaps a little expedited on busier days\nto cover more tables, but it doesn’t try to be a top end restaurant just great food, service in a relaxed atmosphere at a decent price point.\n\nTook some “leftovers” home in a doggy bag and found they had added a couple of extra onion banji to it. Class!\n\nExcellent curries packing flavour and not just heat.

They serve a great pint. Staff friendly and looked happy in their work. Great seats outside the front of the pub where we sat watching the world go by with our lovely cold beers. Reasonable prices. Recommended

Thoroughly enjoyed a sausage bap with brown sauce and a pot of tea on Thursday . Lovely owners who have decorated the inside with a lot of 60's and 70's memorabilia . Like a throwback to great times ! A very enjoyable breakfast ! ?

Cannot praise enough. The staff were so lovely, attentive and couldn't do enough. Lovely little hidden gem. The food was lovely and fresh - we had cheese toastie (with lovely sides) and Nachos would definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back when we visit again.

What a gem of a café. It's worth the wait to get outdoor seating! The food is delicious, the staff are lovely and so thoughtful and the view ? This is a place you have to eat at when you go to Knaresborough for a visit! Highly recommend it!

This is a very good cafe. Staff are friendly, the coffee is good, and the food is great as well. They use local ingredients and it shows, even plain things such as butter are really good. The bread was also fresh and of high quality.

We literally just stopped off for an ice cream & to use the bathroom before we went to hire a boat but thought I’d leave a review because the ice cream was super nice! \n\nIt seems like a nice little place to just sit in the sun and people watch, grab a cold drink and a bite to eat. They have seating inside the cafe & outside in the sun ☀️ \n\nMint chocolate chip ice cream was yummy with big chunks of chocolate ?

Visited on Sunday for a roast with our 3 kids. Pub was warm and inviting. My starter (panko king prawns) was lovely, freshly cooked, the roast was just fabulous, chicken moist, plenty of gravy, big yorkshire, crispy potatoes, cauliflower cheese, yum! Also had sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was gorgeous. My daughter is vegetarian and had the vegetable lasagne which she polished off, son had a small roast and devoured the lot. We will be visiting again and looking forward to sitting by the fire in the winter ? noticed dogs are welcome also ?

Really nice place, excellent staff and great understanding of allergies and safety!

Dietary restrictions: Excellent for gluten free options and celiacs. The chef and team were all very knowledgeable about ingredients and contamination, we felt safe the whole time.

Parking: There's some street parking nearby but none for the restaurant as it's in the centre of Knaresborough

Superbly kept Ossett Silver King in this gregarious pub. I don't know if this place is what they used to call a knocking shop but a room full of seniors dancing to Motown sure looked like it

Didnt eat there but went on a saturday teatime for a few drinks. Found a comfortable seat & ended up staying longer than planned. Service was quick even though it was busy. Everyone was really friendly & a great atmosphere. Ladies toilets were small but very clean. Everyone was havibg a great time & dogs are allowed aswell.

Food was very good and good portion sizes. But the environment and ambience was a little bland. The table we were sat at was awkward with a leg in the middle so we had to sit sideways on the table. \nBeware a 10% sevice charge is added to your bill.
