1 Silver St, KnaresboroughI’m visiting Knaresborough and didn’t feel like eating in. They kindly packed a delicious SO! Classic gluten and dairy free burger and chips for me to eat at my B&B. So tasty!! Great awareness of dietary restrictions with so much choice ?was so impressed returned for the gluten free grilled chicken gyros.

Generous main course portions especially the Special Curry dish which was packed with meats and prawns. Tasty prawn toast, chicken wings and seaweed too.
The Satay sauce was one of the best satays I’ve ever tried!

Staff friendly, especially the lady that was out waitress. Sunday lunch freshly cooked and served nice and hot. Great atmosphere and nice and festive for Christmas. Highly recommended.

Our coordinator Alison was absolutely incredible—professional, organised, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and handled every part of the day with calm confidence. Her support made the entire experience on the day stress-free, and we felt completely taken care of on the day itself.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice. The venue, paired with such an attentive and talented coordinator, made our wedding unforgettable. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a seamless and beautiful celebration.

Mother Shipton's Inn
Mother Shipton Inn, Low Bridge, KnaresboroughVisited on Sunday for a roast with our 3 kids. Pub was warm and inviting. My starter (panko king prawns) was lovely, freshly cooked, the roast was just fabulous, chicken moist, plenty of gravy, big yorkshire, crispy potatoes, cauliflower cheese, yum! Also had sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was gorgeous. My daughter is vegetarian and had the vegetable lasagne which she polished off, son had a small roast and devoured the lot. We will be visiting again and looking forward to sitting by the fire in the winter ? noticed dogs are welcome also ?

Service was quick even though it was busy. Everyone was really friendly & a great atmosphere. Ladies toilets were small but very clean. Everyone was havibg a great time & dogs are allowed aswell.
