An incredible visit. High quality food, drinks and service at a price that belies the exceptional dishes we were fortunate to have. The main restaurant was closed and we were sat in the bar area, this actually made the evening nicer. It was more intimate with the fire roaring. The service was personal and professional. I have just had the most delightful weekend at The Wensleydale with some old school friends. We ate in The Tack Room on both the nights we were staying there and 3 of our party had dogs so we were seated in the bar area and made to feel incredibly welcome. We dropped in here for lunch on the last Saturday before Christmas after a good walk. The food and the welcome were absolutely excellent and the prices were good too. The bar area is dog friendly.
