Our first visit to Malton stopped off for a few hours called in the Globe for pub meal.Wasn't dissapointed at all ,God food good atmosphereFriendly staff would RecommendNearby activities: Markets Saturday
A classic, traditional market town locals' local but with a stamp put on by Rob and his team. Funny boozy quotes adorn the upper walls/beams. Malton being closely connected with the horse-racing industry, the customers get engrossed in whichever race meeting on the TVs.

Neat and well presented accomidation on the first floor. Shared facilities but had no issue with these and the shower and tiowls were clean. No issue with the patrons of what appears to be a very poluar public house.The only issue is that the rooms overlook a loud and busy main road where people exceeding the speedlimit continued late into the night. I would recomend the venue for a mid-week stay but probably not a Friday or Saturday night again.
