I would recommend calling your order in before arriving if it's going to be a large order. This will minimise your wait time. They are the only gluten-free chip shop in Redcar and Cleveland area. The food is always consistently very good.Kid-friendliness: Kids happy meal box
As someone who was brought up here, works here and has had many (failed) romances here, it's safe to say that fish and chips are of utmost importance to the residents of Redcar and Cleveland. For my money, Sea Breeze provides *the* best battered cod in the area. This offsets the rather steep price (an issue nationwide; not just here) as well as the long wait times (because it's so popular). We tried sea breeze today and was pleasantly surprised. Two of us are vegans and wanted to try the banana blossom 'fish' and chips. There was a short wait as it was cooked fresh in a separate fryer (you can ring ahead), even the salt and vinegar was kept separate but it was so worth it. It felt amazing to enjoy a meal with the rest of our family without it being a completely different meal. Can't wait to visit again.
