“Called in here before going to Thirsk races based on the reviews when searching for somewhere nearby. We weren’t disappointed!
Husband had ham, egg and chips and I had the homemade chilli - both were absolutely delicious and good value for money. The whole menu sounded lovely and a lovely Friday lunchtime atmosphere too. We will certainly return next time we’re back in the area and would recommend. Just gutted we were so excited to tuck in I forgot to take a food photo!”

“Absolutely brilliant pub and now one of my new favourites. Really quirky layout as it's clearly a very old build that is full of fun and character. Great friendly staff, very dog friendly and some fabulous beers on hand pull. Couldn't really ask for more ... But if you did you'd find an amazing space outside too!”

“A great family pub with sweets for kids, coal fire, dart board and thankfully NO jukebox. Lovely landlady who clearly takes pride in her establishment. The draught beer I drank, Theakstons Bitter, was excellent,”
