Fell upon this after avoiding the queue at Bettys at noon. Still a queue here but only waited about ten minutes, staff came out with menu for us to look at and place order (if we wanted to) to avoid a wait inside. As it happened a table for two became available so we ordered inside. The scrambled eggs were so tasty. Hubby had a breakfast which looked great and he said tasted really good. Day out in York. Looking for somewhere to eat we noticed the sign for this little cafe. Its so busy you can queue for a table, but we were lucky and there was 1 table for 2. Table service, its not fast food, so there is a wait, but this is freshly prepared, to requirements food. Hubby has scrambled egg on toast. We were looking for a cafe to stop and have a coffee and a bite to eat. This little gem can be easily missed and I spotted it as we stood at the end of the street it resides on. Beautiful place and excellent priced food . The staff are first class for hospitality. We will be visiting again definitely +++++
