Our server was first class, very knowledgeable, attentive and efficient. There were 5 of us and were a little disappointed with the menu, the burgers only had sweet buns (Brioche) not something we like with meat, the alternative was eithe a vegan roll or gluten free, neither of which I found acceptable. In the sandwiches there was a choice of breads, white or rye bloomer. I had fish and chips with peas, beautifully cooked and piping hot, a choice of peas would have been nice....read full review

Had Sunday lunch it was lovely, great atmosphere only 2 MINOR complaints, too much gravy and the cauliflower cheese wasn’t great. Starters and puds were very tasty, earlier entry said the menu was limited but with a small kitchen I do not want to read a list of 30 choices, menu was fine for us.

Great food at reasonable prices . Very friendly service. We got at there qt 4.15 not realising food isn't served til 5.30. The time soon passed and staff was very helpful, especially Toni who recommended the short rib, which Was out of this world , I highly recommend this place
