Four Pears Pub & Restaurant
28 Bedford Rd, Little Houghton, NorthamptonService was hit and miss. The young girl who served was very good but the lad we had would reach across people to place orders on the table. Steak knives didn't arrive until we were eating.
The food particularly my scallop starter was excellent. A little disappointed with my rib eye steak. Cooked ok'ish but certainly wasn't melt in the mouth quality.
The espresso that came with the Affogato was luke warm and stale. I asked for it to be changed. It was and the second one was much improved.
Gents loo was requiring a little TLC but otherwise clean. A loose toilet seat etc.
Just felt they need to concentrate on a few details if they want to take it to the next level.
