What a lovely pub! Went for lunch today with my husband, son in law and two dogs. This fabulous pub is very dog friendly and very coeliac friendly. The food was freshly cooked and was delicious. The staff was very knowledgable about my dietary needs and guided me through the menu on what was gluten free with ease . Rosie our waitress was so helpful. Stayed one night and had dinner too - food was fine, service really good - good breakfast. Room although comfortable and surprisingly quiet for being near a main road was a bit tired, needs a bit of a spruce up.

We ate here between Christmas & New Year. 2 of our party were coming from London & were delayed on the motorway so we were an hour behind the time we had booked, but this was no problem. We all enjoyed our meals and were well catered for by friendly host. I'm sure we will be back.
