Spice lounge - Fine Indian Dining, Seafood Grill

Spice lounge you have restored my faith in Indian takeaways!
I usually go to a newish Indian in Newry which was superb when first opened but 6 months ago I got an awful meal which completely put me off Indian food.
After a day in Armagh I thought I’d go back to spice lounge as I hadn’t been in a couple of years.
What can I say absolutely gorgeous and still a great price compared to the “New place” in Newry

Ate here tonight and couldn't praise it enough, everything was first class - food, cleanliness, helpfulness of staff and the fact you could sit in to eat your takeaway just topped it ?

Decky's Traditional Chip Shop

I was so glad to see decky doing gluten-free food, I got myself some gluten-free onion rings and a gluten-free curry chip, the food was amazing, unreal I would highly recommend deckys takeaway 10/10

best place to get food in all of county armagh, better in food quality, price, customer service than a lot of places i have visited. i whole heartedly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys good food and great customer service.

Indian Cottage Armagh

Hands down THE best Indian takeaway I have ever had. You can tell the dishes are made fresh and the naan bread is to die for. Also great value - this is our regular Indian, the quality of the food is just delicious.

One of the best Chinese’s I have ever had, past couple times I got a Chinese it hasn’t been great but this place is incredible, the customer service is fantastic, the food is beautiful, and a 5 star health rating is hard to come by from a Chinese, very impressed, so glad that menu came through my post box!

Dolphin II Armagh

Have you say went tonight and got the fish goujons and omg absolutely beautiful, got my son a cheese burger and he said it was the nicest burger ever. Will definitely be back

Caffè Nero

I'm not a huge fan of coffee chains. I like good coffee in unique little cafes. Cafe Nero, however, never fails me. Their blends are always tasty. Their locations are always different enough to not be repetitive. Their staff are always very helpful too. This location did not disappoint. Had a really nice coffee close to closing. I would definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Cafe Olympus

Food and service excellent. Large portions of chips for the kids and the croissant are delicious. As for atmosphere it is based inside a pool. How atmospheric can it be?Kid-friendliness: Great for kids.

Subway

if you're ever in ARMAGH Ireland, it's nice to know you can get comfort food. Tried the local subway here pretty much is America. They don't pile on the meat near as much as they do in the United States but they're very friendly very clean and very affordable they take credit card so when you're in a pinch you want home food subway is an easy place to get to if you don't mind walking or driving on the wrong side of the road.

Shapla Indian Restaurant

We were visiting Amargh and it was monday and lots of places were closed but we found Shapla. I had the DumDum lamb and my wife hadas the makani paneer. The staff are so nice and friendly. With wine, dhal and chapatis came to £55 for the two of us. Bargain

Apache Pizza Armagh

Had a pizza from here last weekend, it was the first time I have had anything from they moved premises and thought it was really tasty. It was nice and hot and the staff were very friendly. Will be trying other items off their menu next time

Keegan's Bar & Restaurant

Staff were friendly and efficient and kindly managed to squeeze us in.
Food was lovely - even the veg was made interesting!

Digby's Bar & Restaurant

We had a birthday party with about 7 adult and 5 children. I and so of the party had steaks and all was cooked to perfection,
The staff were always had a smile on their face and couldn’t do enough for you, manager was polite and friendly. Would highly recommend everything about the food and the Guinness wasn’t bad also.

Good central location, connects to the Charlemont Arms Hotel, and within easy walking distance to the Mall and other local Landmarks.Properly stocked bar and friendly staff. Turner’s also serves food which was always cooked properly.Traditional decor and the occasional traditional live Irish music, make this a must for any visitor coming to Armagh.

Excellent hidden gem restaurant in commercial bar upstairs for Sunday lunch or dinner with excellent quality and value would highly recommend for Sunday lunch or dinner and the service is above and beyond food was delicious and very well prepared and presented and the staff very helpful and friendly and service was above and beyond have to say that Martin I'll be highly recommending to everyone i know about the food and High standards of quality and service and I'll surely be back thank you to all your staff.

Called in for lunch today with a friend for a belated birthday lunch. Our food was very tasty, service was very attentive and friendly and overall the price wasn’t too bad either. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely meal this evening. I’m dairy intolerant and my meal was adjusted to suit my needs. Really tasty. Staff friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend and looking forward to next time!

Was the second time I visit for some work / studying and you can actually ejoy your solitude. Coffee is good but the atmosphere brought me again. Worth it to bring your friends over and have a chat. Also loved the facts about some coffee they offer!

Taking pride in sourcing as many ingredients as possible locally, the food here was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our shared pork bites starter and mains, chicken in a smokey sauce and a large salad, were delicious.

Fantastic stay, quaint place that is bigger that it appears. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the bar and restaurant are great. The food is delicious, met Chef Connor McCreesh and praised his menu. HIGHLY recommend the stay.

We always go to red neds when we are on holidays. In my eyes it's just the cleanest pub I have ever been in top place. Who ever looks after it takes great pride. ?

Nice spot, was there this morning with a few biker friends for breakfast. Had the house fry which was quite substantial and very tasty. Friendly attentive staff, would definitely recommend.

Great customer service. Called in late on & thought service was ended for the day but staff very accommodating & couldn’t do enough for us & to top it off the food was delicious. Lovely varied menu to choose from & great specials.

My wife and I payed our first visit to the Bawn Pantry this morning for breakfast and food was delicious, service was polite, friendly and efficient. 10 out of 10!

The Hole In The Wall

Cosy bar with open fire. Historic drinking hole with low ceilings and plenty of character. Pints of Guinness were very nice. Best bar in town (from the ones I visited). Friendly staff. I liked the booths for cozy feel and would definitely come back for a drink next time I'm in town.

The Village Inn

Vegetable soup n wheaten was absolutely gorgeous. Then the ravioli was brilliant aswell. Barbara and rest of the staff are very welcoming. Very homely place to eat in.

Buttery Bar

Sunday lunch i chose the deep fried brie to start followed by roast beef with all trimmings. My desert was profiteroles in choc sauce.
Everything was cooked beautifully tasted divine . The service was impeccable. Really enjoyable wee family lunch. Very reasonably priced too.

For the record, a lot of pubs in Armagh are open daily, but many only serve food Wednesday-Sunday. We went on a Tuesday so we didn’t stay. But if it is like all the other places we visited, I’m sure we would have gotten great service with a smile

Really cosy bar in the heart of Armagh. Cheap drinks, live entertainment and a great crowd at the weekend. You'd be hard pressed to find friendlier barstaff or a better atmosphere. Also has an upstairs that regularly holds gigs for local bands!

The Gathering Rooms

All the family enjoyed it. My husband had a bagel. One son had the kids breakfast and the other loved the pancake stack with bacon. As a vegetarian ordering pasta ordering pasta can be hit or miss but the halloumi pasta was amazing. Great flavour. Service was very friendly and while it took a little while, we weren't in a rush and it so worth waiting for. ?

Mones Bar

Great atmospheric pub, delicious beer, nice bartender, you can play darts ?, always pleasant music! Lots of beautiful bright posters of photographs and historical facts, location in the city center, I advise everyone to stop by and drink a couple of pints of cold beer ?

Mickey Kelly's Bar & Off licence

Had a 60th surprise party upstairs in Kelly's and had a fantastic night. Nicola, Megan and all the staff went over and above, the food was brilliant, the craic was mighty, Anthony (DJ) played cracking tunes, we danced the night away ? Thoroughly recommend this venue for any celebration and of course the bar downstairs is bloody great too ??

The Port Bar

The only thing that let's this bar down are the drinks selection. I think this is probably due to covid, but with a little work they could get it back to its best. The clientele were friendly and staff service was good. Nice atmosphere.

Yummy House

This is the best Chinese in Ireland the people are nice the food is made quick and the lady at front gave me free sauces inside looks clean just a good place to get a feed in

Cup and Cone NI

Been there a few times and the service is top tier and the owner is really inviting and treats you like family. The milkshakes are on a whole other level, if your ever in Armagh you gotta try it.

The Dolphin Take Away

Spotless and very pleasant staff. Ordered chicken fillet, chips and a super chip. It was absolutley delicious. The chips were cooked perfect, chicken fillet was deliciously tasty as was the super sauce. 10/10. The takeaway was constantly handing out orders so that shows how good it was. I would highly recommend! Should be higher rated than it is. Best chippy in Markethill.

Nibblers Markethill

A consistent fish and chips shop with a range of fairly priced manu items. Food typically takes 15/20 minutes so ringing a head is usually advised especially at the weekends. Parking is limited on the street but possible. Gluten free available at request with dedicated fryer.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free chicken goujons and fish available with chips.

Bagel Bean

The food is delicious and has wide variety of selections . On top of that the staffs are really friendly. The lady at the counter even brought my pregnant wife a chair with back just so she could sit comfortably.

Lin's Takeaway - Armagh

Been going there for a long time and the service has been great and so is the food only thing is there is very little in the salt and chilli chicken but overall the food and service is amazing

Nibblers Richhill

I lovely local community ChippyThis is one of the most stable places we’ve been to, but like everything you do get tired of the same place but not Nibblers .The super chipper is fantastic. One tip is to order always ahead & look at the opening times

Gringos

Asked for a Plain chicken Fillet burger got a chicken fillet burger with coleslaw. The chicken was extremely dry and tough and the coleslaw soaked through the bun as it wasn't toasted, chips were stale yet very greasy. Reason for 2 stars is because they made a somewhat nice pizza.

The Galley

Such a nice chippy. Lovely staff, very efficient. Really nice food, not old or greasy at all. Very reasonable prices. We chose to sit in and the bathrooms were lovely and clean too.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly place. They have nice clean bathrooms and the seating booths are large and clean and have the sauces all there for you to use. Plus you can sit and they come down and take your order which saves you wrangling kids up at the counter space.
