Place was good, but very expensive during first week of September. Reception staff is friendly. Railway station is in walkable distance. Reasonable breakfast. It has a private parking space. Other than the price, it is a good place to stay.
This premier inn is in a pretty place near a quiet harbour. The rooms are just what you expect from Premier Inn, nice and clean and comfortable but not fancy. Premier Inn now do Housekeeping on request rather than every day. I think this is really good as in a six day stay we only really needed it once in the middle, you just need to request it at reception when wanted and leave the door tag out. Normal premier inn, but located next to a Norman castle, harbour and Sainsbury’s. A lot cheaper than staying in Belfast but only a 25 minute drive or train journey from the city centre (station is 10 mins walk)Nearby activities: Carrickfergus Castle is worth a visit.
