The Country Cafe

I had intended going elsewhere for lunch but after a recommendation we decided to try The Country Cafe instead and I am so glad we did.
The staff were lovely and chatty and the food was food was delicious! There was lots to choose from - soup toasted sandwiches burgers and much more!
I didn't have one because I was full after lunch but the desserts looked absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back to try some! ?

Regans Bar

Six friends got together In Maghera for the weekend. We went into Regans bar for a few drinks on the Saturday afternoon. Great atmosphere in this wee pub and we were made very welcome by the owner.

An Croí Coffee House & Bistro

Visited on a quiet day. Had pancakes and banana bread and they were delicious, although would have been nice to have a few more berries.

Service was a little slow but there was only 1 staff member.

Atmosphere - was quiet time so can’t really comment

Nosh Cafe

First time at this cafe was lovely frendly staff , I had roast beef dinner an partner had fish and chips couldn't fault it will definitely be back thankyou ?

Montgomery Nurseries & Garden Centre

This place is a little treasure. It's a delight to visit at any time of year. There's plenty of choice of flowers, plants and trees as well as koi fish and a great shop. There is a vast artificial flowers and plants store with everything you need to make them. The shop has lots of local bespoke creations of food and gifts. Cold water fish plus all supplies for tank etc. The staff are all lovely as well as knowledgeable and friendly. It's well worth a visit!

Oak Leaf Restaurant

Visited Oak Leaf Restaurant in Maghera recently and had a great experience. The food was very tasty, the portions were generous, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area

Wee Pats Bar

I love this place and have been going there for years. Great atmosphere and good fun. Loved by locals. You will enjoy the craic. This is a family run pub and i just love it.

Silver Hill Restaurant & Wine Bar

Stopped here on way to belfast Saturday past for a quick lunch and it was lovely had two soups nd sandwiches nd was very nice , the three girls on the floor were very helpfull and well trained , highly recommend for a handy wee stop

Kearney's Bar

Don't be fooled by it's modest appearance from the outside, this is simply a fantastic pub. The night we were there a group of regulars were playing a brilliant 80's playlist and the atmosphere was amazing.This is one of the best pubs I have ever been in. Don't miss it.

Called in for a couple of salad boxes early evening. Such a lovely kind young gentleman serving. Was so focused on customer service. Really dedicated to offering the customer the choices. Nothing was too much bother. Five stars to him. Thank u. And the salads were first class.

I absolutely love this place, I get the same thing every week and have been getting it for over a year now. For 7.50 you get 15-25 pieces of salt n chilli chicken, so much chips, 2 naan and 2 dips of your choice. Honestly Try it best thing ever! Will continue to buy from here for years.

The Premier Bar

We went for a lovely meal at the Marriott in.\nThis wasn’t our first time of being there and yet again we were not let down I have the medium of turkey and ham and it was fabulous the meat came and it was huge meal I really enjoyed it so very much.\nI would really recommend this to anyone because it is such a fantastic place the food is fantastic and caters for everything I use Rollator and find it quite difficult at times however not here. The tables are well spaced apart and I really enjoyed it plus the disabled facilities are fantastic also.\nI will definitely be back here again because I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The staff were extremely helpful and they gave us the only table that was left.\nThank you so much to all the staff as it was a fabulous meal really thoroughly enjoyed.\nRyan McCartney

Bowies Chip Shop

This is one of the best chippies we've ever found. Never had a bad takeaway from here. Last year we got addicted to their Christmas chips and glad to report this year it's just as amazing! So much better than anywhere else we've tried one. You get loads and their gravy is incredible! Also really recommend a fish supper here, you won't be disappointed

Lucky Dragon

Great food the curry has been the best I've had in a long time...
Delivery was reasonable given this place is busy and given the standard of food it's no wonder that they are busy.

Was staying in mountain view lodges and Spa maghera which is also a fab place to stay.

Highly recommend both places and lucky dragon very handy for food and Delivery.

The Pizza Man

I’m absolutely outraged that the pizza man had whipped out a CHICAGO TOWN PIZZA right in front of my eyes and family! This is the first time I’ve seen a man also attempt to cook chips in the microwave keep in mind these were FROZEN! I also saw a 24 pack of Coke and it was sold in individual quantities for him to make more money keep in mind their had been a homeless man outside the shop BEGGING. He had offered my young boy a quickie for a tenner! Whatever that means??? Hopefully it was quicker than the food don’t get me started

Pagoda

The pagoda prawn toast at Maghera is genuinely heavenly crispy on the outside, light and fluffy insid and packed with perfectly seasoned prawns. Every bite is rich, fresh, and ridculously satisfyin. It’s not just a stater, it’s the star of the show. Honewly I’dgo back just for this alone. Absolute mustorder. ??
