2A Castlewellan Rd, Clough, DownpatrickAnother excellent meal at French's. Prawn Open was huge, with everything you could think of put on a plate. Flavours all married together. Staff are professional and very welcoming. Car park was full, but there is parking across the road.

78 Market St, DownpatrickOn 07/09/24, My sister & I called into Murphys Bar & Restaurant in Downpatrick for dinner. When we arrived, a member of staff, showed us to our table & showed us the menu. We also ordered a drink each & then gave the waiter our order. The service was very quick & we didn't have to wait for long till we were seated. Murphys Bar & Restaurant is in Market Street in Downpatrick & is easy to find. It's well worth a visit if you're out for the day in Downpatrick & are thinking of getting some lunch or dinner. The restaurant was actually recommended by the Bizzy Bee across the street when they couldn't help my sister with gluten free.

49 Downpatrick St, Crossgar, DownpatrickA busy spot and got seated straight away. Good selection on the menu and the service was quick. Food is great and there’s very healthy portions. I struggled to finish but I did and made room for a dessert. Good value for money too. There’s seating downstairs and upstairs and considering how busy it was the food came out quick. By the time I was leaving there was a queue out the door waiting for tables.
The place is very well kept and nice & clean.

The food is excellent - especially the local fish specials. Wine selection is lovely. Atmosphere is high end but so chilled out and cosy. And the staff/owners are incredibly welcoming and kind. One of our absolute favorites in Ireland!

2 Main St, Seaforde, Downpatrick, Co. DownFirst time here. Easy to find space to park on road side, no wheelchair access though. We dined upstairs, stairs are not good for elderly. Food is well presented and good size of portion,ideal prices. I asked for medium done sirloin but it's more on the well done side and a bit tough. Friendly staff and good service, well done ?

Very prompt service from Stephen and my party of 3 were well looked after. All impressed by food ordered.

40 Killough Rd, DownpatrickThe best Chinese takeaway around, we come from Castlewellan to get it and have been doing so for years. It seems to be cheaper than most Chinese takeaways around here. Everything we’ve had is really tasty and full of flavour. Very good portions. The girls on the counter are very friendly, they are always busy! The chicken fried rice with gravy in particular are very good)

But coffee was nice.

Everything is done on the day when they sell out they close basically, it doesn't happen often but if you go late on a Friday you might find a few things have run out. Plus they are big family people they do close a bit to spend time with their kids which is lovely to see.

Unit 17 18 The Grove Shopping Centre, Market Street, DownpatrickFind Docs is always good in Newcastle, Ardglass and now here. The single cod was golden and crispy with a few chips. Whilst not the biggest I ever got it was adequate and tasty. Around £6.00 is fair price and place very clean.

I am well aware the food isnt sitting ages and the order of using the app and how it comes through. I always get the estimated delivery time on the email, but my point being, its normally way later that that time given on the email when it does arrive. As for calling, I have called everytime that we've waited 20-30mins after advised delivery time & then be told it's on its was on it's way.
In response to the chips etc, I can't help that's how they often arrive. When we collect it from the shop it's lovely.
Food is mostly good, but unfortunetly the delivery is always late (90+mins from ordering) meaning the chips etc are soggy, greasy and unpleasant.

Each time I've been served by a different male working on their own that day and they've both been so genuinely nice nd effecient. I wouldn't normally take the time to leave reviews but have been so happy with the service I had to share. Best subway I've been too because of these to young guys. Keep up the good work. The Outlet Bridgewater Park, BanbridgeWas in mcdonalds both at the boulevard Banbridge and Newry late this evening. Usual high standards but liking coffee still can't enjoy a decaffeinated one for some unknown reason. I've been to Portugal Spain Australia to name a few and they all serve the prementioned.
