It's been a while since my last visit but it was so nice to see the Barrasford Arms is still an oasis of sanity in our increasingly mad world. I can't speak for the rooms, I just had dinner with a friend. But we got good beer, good food, great service and a wonderful countryside ambience. What's not to like?
Absolutely fantastic service and equally great food. We hadn’t booked but the quickly found us a table, followed by our drinks order and our food order was taken by a lovely lady who quite happily changed the mushy peas to garden peas for my grandson. The fish was excellent and the chips were all home cooked. The gammon and burger were equally good. Would definitely recommend and return when we are next in the area. Thank you for looking after us.
