Such a warming, friendly pub with great food and drink!We were camping nearby and were in need of a hearty meal - the Sunday lunch didn’t disappoint! Generous portion with lots of delicious elements and all perfectly cooked. Desserts and drinks were spot on too!Staff were lovely and helpful and the atmosphere was delightful. Definitely recommend that you head along and support a local!!
We rang the Miners today 26/02/23 and asked if they were doing Sunday Takeaways yes was the reply ordered 2 to pick up in an hour.And we were so pleased we did as the Sunday lunch was very tasty, loads of it and very reasonable priced. My new favorite pub ..proper old school feeling and a real gem of a place ..the staff are so friendly and chatty and the locals make you feel at home and will readily chat if you want to.the real ales were spot on ..if it's still on the pump id recommend th Northern pale ale ..stunning pint . We were on holiday at the local campsite and will definitely be back ..thanks to the staff for making our trip away just that bit better !
