We visited the mash & Barrel twice in the week.The first time was the Monday evening, the restaurant wasn't too busy and we were tabled immediately.The 6 of us (3 adult 3 kids) ordered different meals including one starter of nachos.I ordered the sausage mash and gravy.I managed to eat half of it, I don't think the mash had ever been a tattie, the sausage was a no so funny brown (no the good brown), the gravy I know gets reheated daily so becomes a strong ? dark gravey.It wasn't...read full review

All they think about is profit here.... Don't think of kids at all. Don't have fruit shoots or kids bottle drinks only do cordial and water(for a ridiculous price). Don't employ enough kitchen or waiting staff so the food will take over 45 minutes.A carvery isn't a carvery when the staff dishes it out for you.
