Whilst spending a day in Berwick my wife & I went to the Corner House cafe for our lunch. We we were welcomed by the staff & asked to take a table. A lady came & took our order. My wife had bacon in a ciabatta with an americano & I had a bacon roll in malted bread with a latte. My wife also had a piece of carrot cake & I had a fruit/carrot scone which was a novelty. We were looking for somewhere that could cater for gluten-free and vegetarian. I found the cafe on TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed. Good size portions, plenty of choice, friendly service. The cakes looked delicious and it's nice to see more chioce than just chocolate brownie, but we didn't have any room, I'm sure we will back again to sample the cake.

Stopped off here for lunch whilst exploring the lovely town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Great service and staff were very friendly. Food was excellent, very tasty and filling. Great value for money. Also bought cakes to go as they looked so tempting. Plenty of seating inside with a couple of tables outside.
