Great location and a warmWelcome from the young lady behind the bar.Good food selection , chose a sandwich from the menu . A little disappointed as it was on shop bought bread , and pre-grated coloured cheddar and thickly choppedOnion( and some inedible onion skin was present ).Served with crisps , salad garish and a good portion of homemade coleslaw ( which as very good indeed )Overall a cosy place for lunch in a perfect location.Food & drinks: Cheese and onion sandwich.

Lovely place for a quiet retreat which we've been coming to for several years. The Ship offers good food and Paul the manager and his team work incredibly hard to make the service and your stay as pleasant as possible. Rather over priced rooms but not unexpected due to the lack of accommodation on the island. My only criticism is that my poached eggs for breakfast were so under done as to be inedible but this is just my personal taste.

We had a lovely family meal here prior to heading back to the mainland as the tide turned. We booked at short notice by email the day before. The restaurant was fully booked but Paul the manager offered us a table for ten in the bar and kept us amused with his tales of celebrity visitors. The food was good quality typical pub fare.
