Etal, Cornhill-on-TweedAbsolutely charming tea room with the convenience of a post office! We stopped in after an overnight flight, and were welcomed by the lovely staff. We chose a cream tea and enjoyed every bit! I highly recommend a stop if you are a visitor looking for that quintessential English charm. You'll certainly find it in Etal!

The Blue Bell Inn
A697, Crookham, Cornhill-on-TweedJust had a late lunch at this pub. Very nice surroundings and only a short drive for us to get there so very accessible.
Nice bar area with large log burner in the centre.
Excellent table at the window and the food was very very nice. The suet crust steak pie was excellent. The rest of the menu looked great.
Definitely worth a visit and will be back at some point.

Cornhill Village Shop & Post Office
Main St, Cornhill-on-TweedExcellent, well stocked up on lunch food and coffees to go, there are picnic benches outside. The have ready to eat sandwiches, pies and pastries, cakes and scones, juice. Also, there is a shop selling essentials, gourmet food and a post office. We usually purchase scones and take them on a picnic walk by the river in coldstream
