This is an excellent bar with great food and friendly staff. It has an ‘adults only’ section with log burner and settees if that’s what you like but they also have a larger area with a small stage for acts and an enclosed soft play area for kids. The doors at the back lead out to a great playground for kids. Had lunch there today with my sister Caroline, her daughter Hannah and her daughters. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. I had the fish it was tasty the batter light as air and worth every penny. The oldest baby had a lovely lunch and as it was quiet the staff came out to chat with us.
