Lovely little cafe in the heart of the village with a friendly and homely atmosphere. The food is fresh, well presented and varied. There is also a traditional sweet shop corner - hence the name, which can send you on a journey back to your childhood. The cafe is situated on the square which is central to village activities such as clog dancing and recently, the Allendale Wolf effigy.
Popped in for a cuppa and a scone while visiting the area. Lovely little place - staff were friendly and helpful, and the scones were amazing! Will definitely go back next time I'm in Allendale

Excellent hot chocolate with all the works Lovely bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, very friend and polite staff couldn't of been nicer Lovely interior and ambience Will definitely call again next time we are in Allendale
