Really cosy friendly and welcoming traditional country pub. Very nice and helpful staff who couldn't have done more. Even gave me an extra portion of ice cream!?Food was very tasty and we would ? go back ?
Called in here on a whim as we drove passed we decided to call in for drinks and something to eat on a wet Thursday lunchtime with our two dogs. What a great pub two very welcoming fires and friendly staff and locals. The food menu was traditional pub grub I had the steak and ale pie and my wife had fish and chips both were delicious, shame I was driving otherwise I would have had a few of the real ales on offer. Lovely welcoming village pub. The landlady is so nice and makes you feel like one of the regulars. We went both evenings whilst we stayed in Embleton. Great atmosphere and the food was good too! Very dog friendly our Labradoodle and Labrador loved the doggy bar!!
