One of the few pubs who serve good food on a Sunday evening and are dog friendly. We had a lovely evening taking our daughter out for her 20th birthday (with our dog). The very kind staff gave our daughter a gift as we left - very sweet. Thank you Nurseryman for a memorable evening.
Beautiful plentiful food. Mixed grill was cooked perfectly and along with peppercorn sauce was great. Our waitress Abbie was very polite and looked after us well. Great value and worth another trip!

30th December 2023, our party of seven booked an early New Years meal @5 pm, we had a very enjoyable meal, made extra special as our waitress was Amelia who was exceptional.We did have an issue with one main course, these things can happen, however Amelia very quickly sorted it out and was happy to do so. The customer facing skills Amelia showed give credit to Amelia and her training.We will be back
