My local town centre Costa which I use regularly.4 stars for food & drink but new staff brings down to 3. Staff not rude or anything just not aware of customer service really! In my personal opinion standards have dropped. It seems quite an effort for the staff to raise a smile. Politeness is basic, going through the motions. Paying premium prices for coffee, I expect premium customer service. A vacant expression is what I was greeted with, when I asked about vegan cake options, as labels seemed a little unclear and muddled. Would still recommend the vegan bbq ckn and cheese pannini.
