Was looking somewhere to eat lunch for the family walking down Retford high street, what a gem we found. Honey & Fig was amazing, service was top notch the lady that served us was super polite and lovely. We ordered the American Stack, Eggs Benedick, and X2 kids pancakes with syrup and chocolate sauce. On our drive up to Northumberland from South Wales, we just had to pop to Retford for lunch in Honey & Fig! We'd visited last year and were so impressed we had to make the journey back. It did not disappoint! There's an extensive brunch/lunch menu to suit all. We all had different paninis and brioche with fresh, delicious fillings. Top tip: upgrade to the Sweet Potato fries. Though there was a slight wait for our order ( it was busy) it was definitely worth it! The eggs royale and eggs florentine were absolutely delicious! Friendly staff and we were not rushed.Can thoroughly recommend this lovely place!
