Had my husbands wake at the Gate inn the food was lovely and landlords were very accommodating everyone said that it was a good spread and a lovely atmosphere too thank you Gate inn for making a very hard day much easier
Typical nice pub interior. Good drink variety, reasonable prices.Free Entertainment ( female vocalist ) good. Enjoyable time.Always clean & tidy inside.( Forgot this earlier ! Sorry !)Staff friendly.Decent clientele..Nice outside area / decking/ beer garden to to rear of pubAmple free parking.

Sadly they weren't doing food so I'm unable to comment on that.This has to be one of the friendliest pubs I've stopped at. They allowed me to park overnight in the car park. The staff were great and the locals were really friendly!Lovely wine served, great atmosphere and conversation.Child friendly up until 8pm but then children have to be out.Highly recommend and I'd definitely stop there gain.
