The Plough is a cosy, warm friendly pub with traditional features and amazing food. We felt like we had a country holiday after just one night stay. Highly recommend the breakfast and Sunday lunch.
This pub could be great if the younger staff learned how to talk to customers and tend to their needs as per the job of waiting staff. They sat around talking to each other and watching people which made us feel uncomfortable, left dirty plates, didn't ask about drinks, messed up the final bill, were seen picking up food with their hands.(We sat opposite the serving hatch) I was amazed that one said 'pass that plate' leaning over me at the table gesturing at the person opposite....read full review

Stay at the plough on the 10th Jan really good free parking location good 2 min walk to were pubs eg sky sports restaurants The pub is very nice room compacted room5 but very clean .the lady behind the bar was great i needed a kettle from the room she brought one up straight away also breakfast was 8 am but because I ask for 7 30 they did thus fir me thank very much I will stay again
