Walked to The Fox for lunch from Aynho Wharf. Very welcoming owner. Great beer. Good food. Beautiful pub. Loved it!Walkability: Plenty of walks in the area. Pub is in the centre of the village. Quiet setting.Food & drinks: Good selection of real ale. Interesting menu, great quality food at reasonable prices.
Great staff, good food, good atmosphere in the bar/restaurant.Lovely building with character.Out of town rural setting.Bed was too soft for me.Shower pressure too low for my preference.
Love this place. If you are looking for a lovely old-school English pub, this is the definitive one. Great beer, great food, very welcoming and friendly. Beautiful village. You don't get much better than this hidden gem.Safety: Very safe, rural England. Beautiful.Walkability: You can get to beautiful English countryside within a 5 minute walk.Food & drinks: The pub has a really great menu and the food is top class, but good value.
