4B Market Pl, FaringdonI called in for coffee, but the menu looked really good so decided to have lunch. Ordered beef rendang, and so glad I did. Absolutely delicious and was served with rice and beautifully cooked vegetables. The beef was so tender, and the whole experience was way above my expectations for a small coffee shop. I’m not sure, but I think the dish cost £13–£14. There are no vegan options, which doesn’t bother me, but I have vegans in my family so it’ll stay my secret. ??

The Snooty Mehmaan
Faringdon Road, A420, Littleworth, FaringdonAbsolutely loved our stay at the Snooty Mehmaan! The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The food was superb — delicious and beautifully presented — and the service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Answered all our questions and advised on the volume of food! Every dish we had was a delight. We were lucky enough to sit upstairs this evening - So cute and intimate. Service excellent. Looking forward to coming back again. We had 5 plentiful dishes and a bottle of wine.

The Lamb Tavern, Buckland
Buckland, FaringdonLovey quaint tavern in the Oxfordshire countryside. The restaurant is very welcoming, the wooden beams adds to the character. The tables are nicely spaced out so that you are not too close to each other. The tavern is well staffed and they are extremely friendly, always around to check to make sure everyone is ok.
We went for Sunday lunch. The meat was good quality, tender and plentiful. We had a great meal and would highly recommend.

26 Market Pl, FaringdonWas a bit unsure on entering restaurant.. there was a smell of burnt cooking oil which was a bit off putting. Place could do with a little bit of a clean up and spruce. The greeting from the young man and his attentive service was welcoming, very polite and helpful. The food was amazing. The restaurant could do with a bit of a make over but happy that we stuck with it to try the food. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend, overall a good experience.

1 Park Rd, FaringdonFriendly, great choice of beers (usually at least 4 real ales to choice from) and other drinks, nice atmosphere. They often have good music, anything from DJ nights to a folk session. Highly recommended.

The Eagle Tavern
Little Coxwell, FaringdonStayed one night in a twin room. It might not be the flashiest hotel but it’s comfy and clean. We didn’t stay for breakfast (rather wish we had reading the reviews) but the hotel seemed quiet and when we got back from the wedding we attended at 10pm the place had closed up for the night which surprised us. It could do with a slight bit of TLC externally but flowers are a nice touch.
That said I wouldn’t put anyone off and I would 100% return. Very peaceful nights sleep and comfortable bed too.

The White Horse
Marsh Way, Woolstone, FaringdonA beautiful place to take a break when visiting the ancient sites of the Uffington White Horse, Hillfort, Dragon Ridge and Wayland's Smithy.
We walked in, no prior booking, got a great table (for four) under the low beams, and had excellent food.
Lovely welcoming staff.
All round a great experience in a beautiful setting.

Whilst the food and drinks are a little bit overpriced,they are amazing with plenty to choose from,you can also get a free small hot chocolate called a 'babychino' which I really like. There is also free Wi-Fi and this place is fully accessible for wheelchair users. I have been going here for years with family,friends,romantic partners,I've seen people getting work done here too,you can do quite a lot here and whilst you're in town.
If you live around the area,or are just visiting,I 100% recommend this coffee shop
