4B Market Pl, FaringdonThe coffee house was a great find, nestled just off the main square. It had a pleasant vibe, a charming ambience, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The wonderful owner served great coffee and delicious cakes. It is well worth a visit. This is a fun Village, with a quirky history, and off course, a coffee shop! Happy days.

The Trout at Tadpole Bridge
Buckland Rd, Buckland Marsh, FaringdonI've been coming to The Trout on and off for many years. Yesterday I met up with a very old friend for lunch and we had a lovely time, sat in the 'tipi' in glorious weather, had light (ish!) dishes of fish tacos and lamb burger, both very good. Not many people there, probably too hot!
The service was excellent and special shout outs to Danni and Hannah who were so friendly and helpful.
Long story short - highly recommended!

The Snooty Mehmaan
Faringdon Road, A420, Littleworth, FaringdonAbsolutely loved our stay at the Snooty Mehmaan! The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The food was superb — delicious and beautifully presented — and the service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Buckland, FaringdonFantastic steaks and chips all round, second time I have been with family, the first being a few years ago. For a relatively quiet out of the way pub they have managed to be top notch on both occasions. Well worth the visit.

26 Market Pl, FaringdonWas a bit unsure on entering restaurant.. there was a smell of burnt cooking oil which was a bit off putting. Place could do with a little bit of a clean up and spruce. The greeting from the young man and his attentive service was welcoming, very polite and helpful. The food was amazing. The restaurant could do with a bit of a make over but happy that we stuck with it to try the food. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend, overall a good experience.

1 Park Rd, FaringdonFriendly, great choice of beers (usually at least 4 real ales to choice from) and other drinks, nice atmosphere. They often have good music, anything from DJ nights to a folk session. Highly recommended.

The waitress who served us was warm and friendly without being over the top and we enjoyed every second of it. It was really weird because I said to my Mum that I fancied a tapas place with a courtyard and then we walked past it after going to the outdoor pool. Also I loved the name as it is my daughter's nickname. The food was full of flavour and presented well. I would have liked another cocktail or many as it was soooo good. We will definitely return and recommend to people. Thank you

The Eagle Tavern
Little Coxwell, FaringdonStayed one night in a twin room. It might not be the flashiest hotel but it’s comfy and clean. We didn’t stay for breakfast (rather wish we had reading the reviews) but the hotel seemed quiet and when we got back from the wedding we attended at 10pm the place had closed up for the night which surprised us. It could do with a slight bit of TLC externally but flowers are a nice touch.
That said I wouldn’t put anyone off and I would 100% return. Very peaceful nights sleep and comfortable bed too.

The White Horse
Marsh Way, Woolstone, FaringdonA beautiful place to take a break when visiting the ancient sites of the Uffington White Horse, Hillfort, Dragon Ridge and Wayland's Smithy.
We walked in, no prior booking, got a great table (for four) under the low beams, and had excellent food.
Lovely welcoming staff.
All round a great experience in a beautiful setting.
Highly recommended.

Yes, sometimes it can take up to an hour to deliver but it's definitely worth the wait. Whenever we have friends or family over, and want a takeaway, we always suggest Caprinos pizza and haven't had any complaints yet....

Sudbury House Hotel

The reams are in an old fashion way, and the heating system is Astonisching good.
I did not expect that.
The Breakfast ist Easy-british, and on request you can get eggs, in different ways from the lovely team, and the Night Portier is an awesome person.
The good bus connection to Oxford makes it also a good place to be.
Little charming stores are located in 2 Minutes walk, and by good weather, having a beer in the garden of the hotel, or in the middle of the village is perfectly suitable.
For those that can't spare having a car, you can park the car for free and for the electriccar-users you have two charging ports that can recharge it.
Overall, I can only raccomand it.
