It really is a lovely pub and I think we may have caught them on a bad day, particularly as we were told they couldnt initially find the burgers resulting in quite a delay compared to others. Rang up tonight at short notice and Grace got us booked in no problem at all.Lovely pub and proper traditional meals.We are down this way quite often so now we have found you we will definitely be back. A little gem in the countryside.Biggest piece of cod I've seen in years. Top quality service and staff.Thank you.

Popped in for a lunchtime drink mid-week just after New Years. Very quiet, but I can imagine it gets busier when the weather's warmer. Expect a lot of people doing canalboat holidays on the Oxford Canal will stop there. Service was good. Others I was with had some food, which they seemed to enjoy.
