Wanted a stopping point in a journey to the north, somewhere near Oxford and OH BOY..THIS WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE!!!!

Fantastic food that isn’t cheap but is worth every penny. The cheese shuffle was just mouth-wateringly good, I want some more just thinking about it the day after.

The restaurant itself is in an ancient, very cosy building with low ceilings and very nicely decorated and the service was pretty much perfect.

This is my new stopping point on our trips north. Would give it 10 stars if I could.
