Lovely cafe and brilliant staff, would recommend! There was a wide variety of cakes and pastries, with vegan options, and the coffee was exceptionally nice. Vegan milks do not cost extra which is fantastic and they had a wide selection. The highlight of my visit was the staff: in particular a lovely lady with the surname Jimenez (I can't remember her first name) who was smiling, kind and very willing to help. I'd suggest budgeting £30 a head, without alcoholic drink but including tea or soft drink, for a light 2-course lunch. You can sit inside or, on nice days, on the terrace - the tables have large parasols to protect from a shower. From the rooftop, you have views over Oxford's dreaming spires. Service is attentive, just as well as a 10% service charge is automatically added to the bill. Dining alone as a woman can be hard at times, the staff here made me feel so comfortable. They were friendly and efficient without being overbearing. The food was delicious, I had the pappardelle ragu, it was tender and full of flavour and served very quickly. The terrace was beautiful in the sunshine. Would highly recommend!
