This is a local as locals used to be ,the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel welcome by both the staff and the locals,a pub with a large beer garden serving good food and real ales. a pub worth driving that extra mile for
Great pub, looks small on the outside but lots of room inside and a lovely garden with seating, great dart board and friendly staff, had few family parties, everyone enjoyed themselves

Popped in for a pint and lunch on a Sunday cycle ride but they don't do cooked food, just nuts and crisps etc. Good pint of Doombar Amber, plenty of space in the old cottage bar and a big garden with picnic tables and play equipment for the kids.
