Poppadoms to die for in here..so light and crispy. The food is just delicious and the young ladies that served us were so lovely and polite.Not a great wine choice or discussion. Unfortunately, there is no atmosphere at all. There is a couple of lovely wall prints on great big empty walls...no plants...no music we could hear. Get some rubber plants if not real ones as there isn't much light....or paint the walls and get some Indian music playing to encourage more people inside....read full review
We've visited Elaichi twice for an evening meal in recent weeks. Both times were excellent. We like to have a meat and a vegetarian dish and have not been disappointed in the quality of the meals. The staff are lovely and it is family run. We'll be back!
Pains me to rate this as I have as the food is absolutely top notch!This used to be our local and we look back 6 yrs later remembering how good it used to be so we decide to book a table in Jan.It took 2 hours in total from start to finish in wait times. Once the food was out there was nothing wrong but I think it's a staff shortage?The ambiance needs to be sorted it was very cold (not their fault if energy crisis affecting) the walls were a grey colour very spatse with no warmth....read full review
